On this day in 1968, Sgt. 1st Class Fred W. Zabitosky distinguished himself while serving as an assistant team leader of a 9-man Special Forces long-range reconnaissance patrol. President Richard M. Nixon presented the Medal of Honor to SFC Zabitosky on March 7th, 1969 for his heroic efforts during the classified 1967 mission. #specialforces#greenberet#MedalofHonor#vietnam#5thSFG#deoppressoliber
When life gets super busy, I always long for my days of travel. The thing I love most about travelling is the freedom. You don't have any schedule to stick to, plans are made to be overthrown and you have no responsibilities towards anyone but yourself. In my opinion, there is no way you get to experience freedom as travelling does. No matter how much I'd want to just pack my bags and leave, I know I can't right now. Even though I've enjoyed so much of my travels, I also went through hell because of my ED. And I know I'll have to be very stable before I can go again. And at this moment, I'm just struggling too much. But I'm keeping up hope and still working very hard. Everything to keep living a life I love and to be able to keep doing what makes me happy, in a healthy way.
Here's a little throwback to a day in Ha Long Bay where I jumped off a boat. Life is good. 🌴
