Paleo Unicorn Bars @thescranline⠀
1 cup coconut cream⠀
3 Tbsp rice malt maple syrup⠀
4 Tbsp coconut butter⠀
2 cups desiccated coconut⠀
2 Tbsp crushed freeze-dried raspberries + extra to sprinkle⠀
2 Tbsp crushed freeze-dried blueberry⠀
½ tsp turmeric powder⠀
½ cup melted coconut oil⠀
3/4 cup raw cacao powder⠀
1/4 cup maple syrup⠀
For the bars, combine coconut cream, coconut butter, and rice malt syrup in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until everything is combined⠀
Once combined, fold in desiccated coconut⠀
Divide mixture between 3 bowls⠀
Add raspberry to one bowl, freeze-dried blueberry to the second and turmeric powder to the third to create different colors (pink, purple, yellow). If you feel your colors need a little bit more pop add some natural food coloring. This will make your Paleo bars not paleo.⠀
Press each colored layer of coconut into a baking dish measuring 20 x 10cm. Once pressed in freeze for 3 hours.⠀
For the chocolate coating, whisk the ingredients together in a bowl until smooth⠀
Once set, into bars and individually coat each bar with the melted chocolate using two forks to submerge bars into chocolate, allow excess to drip off. Place on a cooling rack, sprinkle with crushed freeze-dried raspberries and chill for 30 minutes.⠀
Did you guys catch my stories today?! You can see a POSSUM up close and personal 😳🙈 Anyways I feel like I’m coming down with some sinus thing because there is tons of pressure throughout my nasal cavity 🤧 So naturally I’ll be adding all things turmeric into my diet... including these Cashew Butter Turmeric Cookies 😏 I mean, obviously, right? 💁🏼♀️ A cookie a day keeps the doctor away 😇 .
Find these paleo cookies on the blog! Link in profile 🤗 .
I’ve been eating this all week 💥 It’s a Curried Tomato Tortellini Soup & I love it a lot, and I think you will too. It’s no big deal to make on the fly, and it has all the good stuff in it - lentils / tomatoes / spices #turmeric / spinach / plumpy little tortellini...I know there are a lot of lentil soup fans in the house here, PLEASE give this one a go 🤗😘 Recipe link ☝🏼

👍 HOMEGROWN TURMERIC!
From @deannacat3 - 🍃 Since it was kind of difficult to tell the actual size of some of these babies when they were all laid out on the table, here is a better look at one of the "hands" of homegrown turmeric we recently harvested. This variety is 'Indira Yellow', hence it's less orangey appearance than the more common 'Hawaiian Red' turmeric (which we also grow) that you may be more accustomed to seeing. The darker chunk on the bottom of the hand is the original seed rhizome we planted last February. If you're lucky and the conditions are ideal, each seed piece can produce a big beautiful hand like this one. We only had a few that got quite this large 😍 I can't wait to process some of this into dried powder this weekend! I will be sure to share on Stories.
❓ For more info on how we grow our turmeric and ginger, check out #deannasturmeric and look for the only other video under that tag - the one that has a cover photo of close-up ginger pieces on a table. And as always, let me know if you have any questions! 🤘

Happy FriYAY!! I woke up to many more messages from you all about yesterday’s blog post and my heart is so, so happy ✨ THANK YOU for showing me that my words matter and that my journey resonated with so many of you. If you watched my stories last night, you saw that my hot yoga class started with the following intention - “what is standing in the way of you following your bliss?” Writing truly is my bliss and it was the perfect reminder to continue making time, even during the busiest days, to write, whether that be a blog post, a journal entry or a poem 💛 So as you go into today, think about YOUR bliss and how you’re going to incorporate more of that into your life 😚
In other news, if you couldn’t tell, I’m obsessed with my paleo cauliflower “oatmeal” (on the blog!) and I’m not even afraid to admit it 😉 I’ve been taking it up a notch with this new @live24k turmeric collagen golden fuel and it’s a total game changer 😍 Not sponsored, just absolutely loving this blend!! I’m always looking for more ways to incorporate anti inflammatory agents like turmeric into my life as I work to heal my gut and this has been the perfect addition ☺️ What’s your favorite “superfood” to incorporate in your meals?
Lemon Ginger Turmeric Detox Tea
8 oz water
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp grated turmeric (alternatively you can use dried turmeric spice or the content of the Organifi Daily Turmeric supplement)
2 tbsp juice of lemon
1 tsp black pepper (unless you are using Organifi Daily Turmeric, it already has black pepper in it!)
Extra: 1 tbsp of honey
Boil your water.
Add the #ginger and #turmeric in a tea strainer, put it in your favorite cup and pour the boiling water through it. Alternatively, you can simply add the ginger and turmeric to your cup, just strain it after about 5 minutes to remove these spices.
Remove the strainer after about 5 minutes. Add the black pepper, lemon and if you want a little honey. Stir well and enjoy. #recipe#healthyrecipe#organifi#detox#detoxtea

i must always be carried due to my hygge lifestyle
#supplements... #Turmeric, #collagen, #biotin, #multivitamin I think I’m officially old...that’s what a pill organizer MEANS!!
I’m terrible at remembering to take pills, but I’m going to give these a go and see if there’s any kind of measurable affect. We shall see...
