Sometimes it takes just one thing to brighten up the day...
Catherine Hill, Frome, captured by @jcmphotographyuk 📸
The manufacture of woollen cloth was established as the town's principal industry in the 15th century, and Frome remained the only Somerset town in which this staple industry flourished. Families of clothiers gradually came to be the principal landowners in the town, with the manor of Frome itself finally passing into the ownership of a cloth merchant in 1714.
From 1665 to 1725 major expansion, including the building of a new artisans' suburb to the west of Trinity Street, occurred. In the 1720s Daniel Defoe remarked that the town had grown in the previous few decades so that it was "likely to be one of the greatest and wealthiest inland towns in England".

Feeling politically annoyed today (welcome to Britain guys) but I don’t think Instagram is a place to bring politics as it should be kept a nice, happy place 🤣🤣
So I was flicking through my photos of Suffolk and noticed this pink house has a for sale sign. But after extensive googling I cannot find this house for sale or recently sold anywhere, and I really wanted to dream of owning it.
Life goal: to live in a renovated country cottage (the village must have a shop and a pub that serves delicious food), with a duck egg blue country kitchen, I would like an exposed brick wall at least somewhere in my house, a Velux window in a slopey ceiling, real wood floors that creak, a roll top Bath, and exposed beams.
Thoughts? Realistic? Will I ever achieve my goal? Because right now that house does not exist in my price bracket or the location I want 🤦🏻♀️
Ps my husband is totally onboard with this as long as he can walk to a train station, walk to a bank, walk to a super market and walk to the barbers. Do you see our problem with this country house dream 🤣🤣

Ely Cathedral is also known as the Ship of the Fens - when fog settles over Ely, once a marshland, the cathedral looks like a massive ship sailing across it. It’s hard to show how absolutely huge this building is, and it’s practically in the middle of nowhere!!

Ok, now I am getting into a Christmas mood as well 😅🙈 Can’t wait for my mom to finally see all these Christmas decorations, - she’s never been in London during this time💔
And how do you spend your lunch break? I am chilling in this cool pop up that brings #shotofsummer to the City - in reality fire alarm went off at work but it was exactly my lunch time so I passed a message to my colleague that I am alive and to include me in the count of people that safely left the building 😀🤷♀️🌴👌 #summerisback#citylife#londonlife#mayyaindacity#londoncitylife
