When Sara Blakely was 41-years-old, she became the youngest self-made female billionaire — but success didn't come to her overnight.
Long before she called herself the owner and inventor of Spanx, she worked at Disney World, sold fax machines, scored poorly on the LSAT and explored every opportunity that came her way. 🖌: @bi_graphics

This week I was going through my old diary I used to keep when I started my journey in building my first company, back in 2011, and there’s an entry in there that really hit home this week... In the entry, I was referring to being stood in front of a train waiting for the door to open, and a man in a suit took one look at me and pointed down the line and said ’This is first class mate’. He’d made an assumption, based on nothing but what I looked like, and came to the conclusion that I could never be qualified to sit in first class. Later in the diary, I wrote how I wanted to prove people like him wrong and that one day I would sit in first class.
Fast forward to this week, 2017, and I find myself in the back of a car on the way to Buckingham Palace, invited by HRH The Duke Of York to a dinner to discuss Global Goals, an initiative designed by 193 world leaders to end poverty, inequality and climate change.
The moral of the story here is two-fold.
Firstly, we should never judge people based on appearance, just because we have one position in life, doesn’t mean that our perception of that position means that others cannot be qualified.
But secondly, and most importantly, that you really can achieve anything, regardless of where you are today. In that diary entry from 2011, I noted the position I was in and how it doesn’t get much lower than that, but I always believed that it was a temporary, and that belief is what made those moments as happy for me then, as I am now.
Avoid them at all costs. Use a money calendar so you know when bills are due and when money is coming. Also, use a budget tracker.

Ok, ok who is guilty of overthinking everything? I'm one of those people, I'm a recovering people pleaser! I would over think if I was going to hurt someone's feelings! I would overthink if I was doing something right or wrong, and how my choices will impact others!
I've also done alot of over thinking fitness at times! I'm on a path right now of intuitive eating, meshed with macro counting! But I will only count if I'm looking to cut or gain muscle!
One of my biggest goals lately is trusting my gut, trusting myself and my intuition!
This can be hard at times, sometimes things that seem to make sense on the outside don't make sense on the inside!
This is also how our bodies work, if I gave 2 people an exact meal plan, it might work for one but not the other!
So come along with me on this journey of learning to listen to my intuition! I will get incorporating this into my coaching also!
