WOULD YOU TRY THIS??⬇️⬇️ Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs! I can’t even believe how good these came out!! 😩🙌🏾 I used @lomafoods Sazon to season them and seared them in a garlic/lemon butter sauce 😍. This Sazon is full of flavor, but without the artificial coloring and less salt, so you can control how much you put in! #feedingtradition 🙌🏾 SO EASY! Here’s how:
➡️1. Fry garlic in EVOO. Remove. Season chicken with @lomafoods Sazon on both sides. Cook on each side; about 5 mins until brown.
➡️2. Add the garlic back + red onion to chicken; sauté. Add 1tspn butter (I used a light version), melt. Add about 1.5 cups water + lemon slices. Bring to boil. Cook until sauce renders down (thickens).
➡️3. Add a lil salt + pepper and a dash more Sazon to flavor sauce. Serve with white rice + garnish with cilantro & enjoy! ♥️🇵🇦 #ad

Lightly raining and cold outside but super comfy inside with this delicious, comforting braised beef stew with fluffy bread dumplings on the stove. 😍 This treat needs about 3-4 hours to cook but it is so so so so worth it. One pot wonder😊 Recipe is on the blog, search for “braised beef stew”. What are you guys cooking today? Lots of love 💛 #jernejkitchen

I can eat breakfast anytime of the day!!! Here are some dishes I’ve made. If you could only pick ONE, which would you do!? 1. Pancakes with ham
2. Home fries, scrambled eggs, toast, and sausage
3. French toast with apple topping, scrambled eggs, and bacon
4. Strawberry cheesecake pancakes
So what’s new...
Quite a bit actually. We like to think we knocked out a bloody good full breakfast over the last three years and there’ll no doubt be some spinach & tomato flavoured egg tears shed in the coming days... truth be told though, nothing last forever.
There’s only so much culinary satisfaction your brain can take before it starts to wander and flirt with other dishes, not to mention the general exhaustion of maintaining a menu that initially aimed to please all without realising just how popular we may have become. With this in mind we’ve swapped the above for our homemade breakfast hash - a meat & a vege option. It will hopefully give us more time to think about what we do, time to get more creative and most importantly it might allow us to enjoy the cafe a little more. There’s a few other changes but we’ll break you all in gently..
soup: tomato & mixed bean ( #vegan & #glutenfree)
stew: steak & ale
cake: banana loaf, chocolate brownies OR coffee & walnut bundt
gluten-free: raspberry & almond

I finally figured out how to use the delay timer on my InstantPot!! Not that it was hard, I just hadn’t bothered to figure it out. Lol. So today I chopped some veggies, set the timer, we ran some errands, and came home to an amazing meal! Now I know this is kinda like starting something in the crockpot, but we weren’t planning on being gone long, only an hour or two, and that wouldn’t have been enough time to make a stew. 🤷♀️ .
Yellow potatoes, carrots, fennel stalks, onion, black beans. The fennel stalks in this were amazing! I really like using it in place of celery in recipes. 👌
