COLD and very tough run after yesterday’s storm.
All I can say is this winter running better be making my legs stronger and my pace faster come spring. #roadtoboston

Getting back at it! 4 progression miles today. Legs feeling recovered (finally!) Long run tomorrow will be the real test. Splits were 7:49, 7:30, 7:17, 7:03 and a slow cool down mile #sweatpink#motherrunner#runlikeagirl
Woohoo it’s Friday 🙌🏽 5 miles was all I had time for this morning 🏃🏽♀️ but I’m grateful for any miles! Time to get my coffee ☕️ and knock out half day of work. Hope you all have an amazing day ☺️✌🏽(photo taken at a different day at the park) love playing with my GoPro as you can tell lol!
Came home from an easy 6 miles to a 📦 from @honeystinger 🐝 So excited to be an athlete & member of the elite hive for 2018!!! Their organic gels, waffles, protein bars and chews are delicious and nutritious! Katie and I will only stand behind brands we believe in and use everyday. Thank you to @honeystinger for your support!!! #stingorbeestung#honeystinger#honeystingerelite
I love running! It’s helps to clear my mind and allows me to escape the stress built from work and grad school. For some individuals running isn’t fun and I get it. It wasn’t fun for me at first but as I kept running 3-4 times a week, it didn’t become a chore but became part of my life. The feeling of the cold wind and the beautiful sun radiating my entire body.... couldn’t ask for a better day to run 😍😍🏃🏻♀️💨💨💨 #runner#running#run#runnershigh#runnerslife
Can’t think of a better meal to have on a snowy day than pho 😋 not only because it’s warm but the broth replaces electrolytes, carbs from the rice noodles, packed with veggies for lots of nutrients, and tofu for some protein👌🏼 Running wise kept it short and sweet today with 3 quicker mikes with negative splits (8:20, 8:08, 7:39) on the snowy sidewalks ❄️ I don’t love the cold but if it’s going to be cold, I want it to snow so am so happy it finally did!
Beautiful celebration with friends yesterday in McLaren Vale followed up with a shorter faster session in the heat this morn. Loved it all! 💗 happy with 10.5km @4.36/km after yesterday’s long run. A lazy beach day planned for me I think and perhaps a gentle jog at sunset tonight. Happy summer Sunday everyone☀️👌 #beachrun#thankyoubody#summerlover#running#makeyourselfhappy

“Sometimes, you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been to stand back up taller than you ever were.” Forever inspired by all the badass, #strongwomen around me. 👊🏼💥
Things got a little salty today. I couldn’t help but notice that no one else finished caked in salt. What does this mean? I will just say that maybe I was working harder than everyone else.😆 So where else can you run a race called “frosty’s frozen” in shorts and a t- shirt hours before a snowstorm rolls in? Man I love Colorado!
P.s at 6’3 and 245 exactly how fast should I expect to run long distances? I would stop and ask but I seem to the only larger guy attempting this stuff.
I think that instead of age classes, they should go by weight classes!
Who is with me?
Finished a 10K run 🏃🏻♀️ today in Stanley Park, Vancouver. Feel so calm and relaxed after the run.
Did you know that long distance running is a form of meditation once you become comfortable with it? For me it has. Your mind empties itself of all negativity. You focus on nothing but your breathing and being in the moment. You feel your steps, the pain in your calves, your heartbeat and the sweat dripping down your forehead. And when you finish a feeling of euphoria takes over you and it is as if you become a new person that is ready to receive positive energy. So you see my friends, this is like meditation.
12 MILES TODAY!! 🔥🔥🏃🏻♂️
Today’s run was very physically exhausting but I feel a lot better after this run than I have after any other runs. Today’s weather WAS SO PRETTY too so that really helped. Now I’m quite tired and I’m glad to just be home. 👍🏼👍🏼
