SNOW DAY!! ❄️❄️
It’s so fun having hubby home but definitely going to go a little stir crazy! We are supposed to get snow until 5 pm tonight and sure doesn’t make it easy to run! Thankful that we are both home so we can tag team our runs! .
Hubby got started early with his workout and then I got in my 50 minutes easy. This cycle I am doing 2 days of recovery between workouts because my workouts are faster and take more out of my body. Tomorrow I’ve got another big one so focused on true recovery again today! 👟🏃🏼♀️

A little snow in the forrest. Time to play! 🤘On the top it was already really good snow. I did my 30km not at 5:00am! I was way too tired ! 😂 But I was still the first and only person on the trail ! 😊🙌 30km in 4:18 min./km with nearly 1000m of climbing in the snow. Last 1000m downhill in 3:01 minutes! I am happy with that. 🤙 #gorewear#brooksrunning
PRE RACE 🌈 So currently I’m jsut having a (relatively painful!) foam roll stress and mental preparing myself for the race tommorow. I’ve had a good meal tonight and a relaxing evening... I just wanted to quickly give you a few tips to combat pre race anxiety (as I am currently doing right now!): 1. So what I’m doing is picturing the race going how and planned and my running technique being perfect 👌🏻 2. Now I’m listing all the reasons I love to run and why I run in my head 💭 3. I’m remembering how many training sessions and how hard I’ve worked, which I then use in my race to push myself - by saying you deserve this, you can push through just like all those training sessions 💪🏼! These are just 3 of my methods that really do help me, so maybe try them out and see if they help you too!
