It’s been a while! Here’s a new process clip. I get this question often: “Do you wait until the bottom layer dries before piping on another layer?” The answer is: “It depends (I know it’s never a simple yes or no answer)! What effect are you trying to achieve? If you want to go for a 3D effect then wait until the bottom layer is slightly dry. Don’t wait until it’s completely dry. I find that if I do this the top layer sometimes develops its own feet. If you want to blend two colors together (I do this with Donutella), then you need to layer when the bottom is still wet, and tap both layers in together.
Experiment! And you’ll find even more techniques that work best for you. In the meantime, enjoy #superpusheenicorn ✨! #honeyandbutter#macarons#pusheen#processclip#baking#macarontechnique#unicorn
