[jelly星期一] KL Shao Roast has moved to a new location at CT Hub, do you know?
At a more spacious eatery space now, you could easily get a seat and lay your hands on their signature char siew made in-house!
I’m not sure Izzit my tastebuds or they changed their recipe but char siew tasted more sweet now with a floral aftertaste. Pork belly skin was crackling whereas the roasted chicken meat was too dry for my liking.

My latest @twohandswines is the Bellas Garden (Barossa Valley), brash, bold ripe and in your face like a shot, 2006 Shiraz... It's fruity, thick, luscious, bold, purple delightfull blueberry jam dark cherry naughtiness, and a hint over herbals... Superb!
🔞🔞🔞 X Rated wine!! Amazed at the length, and youthfulness of this wine! Is probably in the middle of its window, but will cellar for a good 3- 5 more years probably!
The Pork🐷🐷🐷🐖🐖🐖 belly I rubbed the bottom with a fresh thyme,☘️🌿☘️ sage and rapeseed oil paste that I simply ground up, and on the top just some sea salt and pepper...... In the oven at 250c 🔥🔥 degrees for 20 mins, then 40m at 180, before doing at 250 for another 20m to boost up the skin to be teeth shatteringly awesome! I did serve it with a cleariac mash, and some other greens)) The star is always the belly though... ✔️
I just HAD to pair it with a big wine...

Don’t let their name @kingteabar deceive you, this place pumps out frickin’ delicious Spanish tapas 🤗🤗. I’m not even sure if you can order tea here, but ya can sure load up on sangria, beers and cocktails 🍸🍺🍹.
