Recipe 👉 4 tbsp almond flour (30g) + 3 tbsp @quaker oats (20g) + 1/2 tsp baking powder + 3 tbsp @tropicanafr applesauce (50g) + 2 eggs + 1/3 cup @bjorgofficiel soy milk (80ml). Mix all the ingredients together with a whisk then cook on low heat with coconut oil. Top with peanut butter + @justebio coconut powder + @driscollsberry blueberries + raspberries and you’re all done!
I can’t believe it’s already Friday! This was possibly the best bowl of oats that I’ve had in a minute. I cooked rolled oats in homemade hemp milk with vanilla bean & cinnamon then topped them with @powerupsnacks goji power trail mix (superrr good) + cashew butter + honey + hemp seeds + banana #PowerUpSnacks

Busy morning!!! Hit the gym bright and early so I could spend awhile there doing a bunch of fun stuff 😊 I started doing a mixture of abs, arms, and other resistance type training after my typical run/incline walk to build more muscle!! After the gym I had this delicious bowl of oatmeal (took a break from eggs this week to see if my skin clears up at all) and I haven’t noticed any real change yet so the scrambles might be making a comeback! Sorry for the belated post, I’ll post more later 😊

happpppy #toasttuesday to all!!!!! I enjoyed this amazing combo which was *to die for* as an easy and light dinner and it hit the spooooot 🤤 a slice of rye bread which is the best bread EVER (shoutout to @heb!!!), @kitehillfoods plain cream cheese, 1/2 and avo with lots of lemon juice, 2 slices of prosciutto 😍 aaaand some micro greens on top. Will def be repeating this one! #bowlgoalz

Week #2, Day #2 Today is about portion sizes. Living with a partner of the opposite sex, it’s easy to end up consuming a similar calorific intake. This is something that should be avoided. Here’s some science: Men generally have much higher testosterone levels > this in turn leads to building more muscle mass > muscle mass requires more calories to maintain > men can consume more calories without gaining weight. There are several handy images on the web that indicate “rule of thumb” portion sizes for men and women (which basically says men should eat twice that of women, which can’t be right), but it completely depends on your goals. We tend to have a ratio of 3:2 guy:girl.
Anyway, here’s some Seared Turmeric Chicken from @jamieoliver. It’s so fresh and light, and homemade hummus always goes doesn’t well in this house👍 I can’t get bored of JOs book, Everyday Super Food. Anyway, get the recipe here:
First attempt at @wernou amazing fluffy eggs was a fail 🤦🏾♂️ haha , but they still tasted noms! Made some spicy sweet potato spears, spinach, and smashed avocado with @furtherfood collagen thrown in there for good measure 😄

#transformationtuesday It’s amazing how quickly the body can change. All three of these pictures were taken within the last month. It just goes to show how taking intentional action to alter your eating habits and making the Gym a priority can make a world of difference. Stop waiting and take action. You won’t be sorry.

With being sick, I’ve been put on a SUPER strict diet. I’m not sure if this will be permanent or not until Friday. But, to be quite honest, as much as I thought I was going to dread it cause yah girl LOVES to eat, it hasn’t been too bad. I’ve had to give up a lot of foods and I have had to learn how my body really reacts with every single thing I consume. But, I’m learning so much about nutrition and about my own body! And that’s one of the best sacrifices I’ve made in my fitness journey! In reward, I’m getting my baby, endomorphic abs back and that keeps me going; to stay strict and rebuke the devil when I want chocolate or fries or cheese! 😜 The whole point in this post is to give y’all some words of wisdom. Adhere to a diet that suits you. Love what you eat. Eat for what makes YOU feel good and look good! Remember what might work for me or your friend may not work for you. Vise versa!
