BACK PAIN MANAGEMENT: FASCIA ✨
Using a massage ball may be the first thing I would recommend before looking at deeper issues of back pain. .
✨Sitting all day at a desk, training in the gym, and really just life in general, tightens these muscles specifically (along with many in the lower extremities we'll talk about another day) and regular myofascial release using a massage ball can temporarily reduce back and neck pain 🙆🏼
*in the video I'm kneeling to show you because it's extremely hard to film laying down since the ball is so small!*
✨When using a massage ball, I recommend laying down on your back on a yoga mat to target these muscles in your back and neck. .
✨STEPS: Place the ball in the areas shown in the video, and relax and roll over the ball until your muscles feel relaxed, stretched, and refreshed. Any knots and tightness should be relieved ❤️

For all you people out there who should watch this series from @biolayne but won’t, here’s a truth bomb summary from the numbers in the picture:
1. After 1 year of dieting, 70% of people relapse
2. After 2 years, 85% relapse
3. After 3 years, 95% relapse.
1/3-2/3 of those people will add MORE weight than they originally started with
That means that dieting is “successful” 5% of the time!!!
If you want to not only lose weight, but maintain your weight loss long-term, you need to think about your approach and if it’s truly appropriate for the long term.

We built that wall so we won’t have the experience of the pain, that hurt, the sadness or numbness we once experienced. We built that wall out of protection and security. We built that wall to have power again- a sense of control.

This layered vegetable bake was a winner in my home tonight - well....for me and husbo as my daughter ate a postage stamp amount of sweet potato 🤦♀️ I used zucchini, sweet potato and potato. Only a little cheese amongst the layers and then into the oven 👍
