I didn’t finish college and for many years I let this define me and limit me in what I believed I’m capable of. Does it help to know I’m completely “unqualified?” Don’t let your credentials limit your actual capabilities. Write the book. Do the thing. Teach the class. Start the blog. Learn the skill. When you do it, applaud yourself- you took the first step. 💗💗💗
I used to cling so tightly to this vision I had for my life and future. I felt that because I had this vision, I was levels ahead of everyone else-- even though I was doing nothing about making it come true.⠀
My behavior was destructive. I drank... a lot. I spent $ like it grew on trees. I thought I was invincible because I had this vision and believed that as long as I had it in the back of mind, that it would happen.⠀

After a much needed holiday break in which I indulged in social pleasures, especially those of the culinary sense, I am full fledge back on track and reverse dieting to build quality muscle whilst maintaining a low body fat percentage. I am giving my body a break from any “supplementation” to prime my system for the next phase of growth. To maintain mass and stay lean I am slowly tapering off of my cardio while increasing Calories. Training like a mad man is an obvious. Everything is done slow and steadily. I work hard during prep to achieve supernatural look and it’s a shame so many competitors throw their aesthetics in the garbage once they enter the off season. You can still grow and put on quality mass without excessive fluff. 2018 is a year of physical and spiritual growth for me and I will keep grinding and focus on my goals. Goal setting is essential to reaching success as quickly as possible. You can go 100mph if you don’t have an end point you’re going nowhere fast. The purpose of goals is having a general pathway with which to reach your destination. I’ve always skipped doing goals because I just didn’t like writing them down with no organization so I created these formats in order to help with that. I created these in excel and it was very simple so if you’d like me to send you my examples just comment or message me. I hope this helps with your goal planning and if you haven’t written yours down for the year hop to it. Also I advise making your goals for periods shorter than a year that way you can adjust your goals throughout the year based on your progress. 🥇

If you think that the harder you work, the more successful you’ll become— I have news for you.
Working harder doesn’t entitle you to put yourself up on some pedestal. It’s not not a Medal of Honor. This is not to disregard the concept of working hard, but rather to know when to work hard versus when to work smart. Working hard should be used to help you get to the point where you can work smart.. not replace it.
For example let’s look at a martial artist. He could have trained all his life, but at the end of the day a guy with a gun will always win. I’m sure learning to pull the trigger on a gun is a lot easier than learning martial arts.
To put things into perspective the top 10 richest people in the world make more money than the bottom 3.5 billion people combined.
If working harder meant you were going to be successful then the people with the crappiest jobs would be the wealthiest people in the world .

This golden nugget found its way to me on Sunday when celebrating with family. It was the Universe's divinely perfect timing for that affirming nudge on the eve before beginning a new program that will certainly challenge me beyond ways that I've been challenged in the past. The Universe always has your back ✨
Am I extremely successful yet? No. However because I have crafted and shaped my mindset around being successful, all I have to do is keep living every day as it comes and I know I will eventually look down and be where I want to go, as long as I stick to my scheduled tune ups that is 😉 #streetlightvibes 🤓💡🕉
This analogy is such a truth bomb. 💣
It's not about what's going on around you, it's about how you adapt to your surroundings. The egg could succumb to the pressure and crack, but it doesn't. It just keeps getting harder and harder until it solidifies. Once it leaves the high pressure environment, it's got a tough shell. It takes some time to peel back the hard exterior. (Let's be honest, most people avoid boiling eggs altogether because it's too much effort to peel afterwards.) The potato's soft exterior is easily peeled before it hits the same water. It eventually gives in and becomes even softer. It easily turns to mush once it's been in the water for long enough. See where we're going with this?
You always have a choice in how you respond to your circumstances, even if you don't choose them. Look at your tough situations as more of a learning curve than a gigantic brick wall of "I can't". Trust the process and appreciate what your mind is capable of pushing through.
Moral of the story: Don't be a potato. 🥔😉
