In the news this week there has been a study carried out to give woman incentives to breastfeed by supplying shopping vouchers. @harryjudd and I have spent the last hour debating this sensitive subject!
I can’t help wonder if this is the right incentive and message to be sending out. Surely there are other ways to give support and guidance!
I can only write about my own experiences... I was able to breastfeed Lola until she was 7 months but with huge challenges. I can honestly say in the early days it was far tougher personally for me than labour for so many reasons.
My Breastfeeding story with Kit has been very different and despite trying to breastfeed he is a much happier baby on formula. He had terrible reflux for the first three months and what with me being on antibiotics for mastitis and tonsillitis which upset his tummy even more, I had to make a decision. Not to mention the excruciating pain I was in trying to feed him even having had the latch checked over and over. I was scared to feed with the pain and both Kit and I ended up in tears.
I still walk past baby’s being breastfed and could cry for the longing to breastfeed Kit, but It didn’t work out that way and I have to trust that I have made a decision that I believe is right for my baby.
After all we are only doing our best ❤️

Please grant me coffee to change the things I can and yoga to accept the things I can’t. ☕️🙏🏻🙌🏻😉 - a wise person on Pinterest
For everyone who’s been asking me how I take these floating yoga shots, there’s a new tutorial on the blog with step-by-step instructions (zero Photoshop skills required! 😱😜) and a little visual behind-the-scenes. I’ve put the direct link in my bio if you’re interested!

"I was 20 and my wife, Cori, was 18 at the time of our first pregnancy. We were not married at this time, and decided to take things slow to ensure we would have a happy and healthy family. Together we used love, prayer, family, and faith to persevere through many obstacles and hurdles that life would throw at us. As our son, Blake, grew older and we became more financially stable, we knew it was time to grow our little family. However, it was not in God’s plans at this time. In due time, Blake grew curious as to why we never had another child. Cori and I took the time to explain that due to medical complications, it would appear that we would not be able to have another child. It was hard for a five year-old to comprehend this, though. Fertility was not an option for us throughout the entire process. In 2016, I was called to serve and was deployed for a year. Nearly five months ago I returned home to, what we considered, the perfect family. Once again, our son began to question why he was the only child. Since he was now nine, it was easier to explain and have him understand. Fast forward to November 14, 2017... We were blessed to share the exciting news with Blake. It is a moment in life that not one of us, will ever forget." A Love What Matters Original Story

Wish this momma some luck, puuhhlease!🙏🏻 lol PS in this photo she’s only 2 weeks old and our greatest adventure was just keeping the 💩 in the diaper. We’ve grown!🤗 haha!| 📸:@amandadollyphotography

I sure like this kid. He never wakes up in a bad mood, he’ll cuddle for hours, and he always asks for a second snack so he can share with his brother (and no it’s not a con, he does actually share 😉). Love him ❤️

This gorgeous couple is expecting their first baby ♥️
As a mother I constantly feel like I am not doing enough or I could be a better mother if XYZ, which is filled in with so many things.
I realize this is likely a common theme for many women, but I find myself in a struggle, when even the smallest things come up. .
Today, I started the morning off poorly, and ended up leaving the house without his lunch for school, running out too quickly so I wasn’t late for a parent-teacher conference. I promised to bring lunch by 11:30am so my son wouldn’t be the only child without lunch. Today I needed to get my phone fixed at the Apple store and planned to arrive before the mall opened at 9:30am to be in and out quickly. They had my phone for longer than expected and all of sudden I asked what time it was and it was 11:37 and I never brought the lunch!! I literally ran out of there as fast as I could, stopped at Starbucks upstairs for a bagel and apple juice and continued to run to my car. I made it to the school at 11:55am. I think/hope lunch actually started at 12pm, But this left me feeling so much worst. .
Tonight, I realize I am doing the best I can when I keep love as the top priority. Love you @yogiiza .

When should I start brushing my baby's teeth? As soon as when their teeth come in with either a washcloth or finger brush designed for babies. It's important to take good care of them as some teeth are not replaced by age of 12.
Do you have a family of your own? 👨👩👧👦👩👩👧👦👨👨👦 If so, comment and let me know if your lifestyle allows you to spend time with them as you please. I’m curious. 🗣
If not, message me and let’s talk. I’m serious, don’t be shy.
No strings attached. Just talk to me about what you want to do and let’s see if we can get a plan in place to make your dreams come true. 🌈
One of my favorite thing is building women up and helping them reach their goals. 🙌🏼
