Do you ever have dreams that make you so happy you wake up and realise they weren’t real and then you feel more sad?
Story time: I used to have a toy cow, he was yellow, fluffy and perfect. I was given him when I was 2 weeks old by one of my dad’s colleagues. Cow was my favourite possession in the world, and to this day is the best thing I’ve ever owned. He listened to all my 8 year old secrets, my 13 year old rants, and was my source of comfort whenever I was sad. Anyway, fast forward to when I was 14, cow got lost. Either at Faro Airport in Portugal, on the plane, or at Luton Airport on arrival. I never saw cow again. I could cry right now typing this lol 🐮
Anyway. I had a dream last night about my dad and it was m birthday and my dad had found cow and gave him to me. Long story short, I woke up and realised cow wasn’t here and the dream wasn’t real 😫😫😫😫
I need a hug 🤗

Сколько красивых городов таится в Германии. Здесь можно жить вечно и всегда наткнешься на что-то новое и неизведенное.
Feeling politically annoyed today (welcome to Britain guys) but I don’t think Instagram is a place to bring politics as it should be kept a nice, happy place 🤣🤣
So I was flicking through my photos of Suffolk and noticed this pink house has a for sale sign. But after extensive googling I cannot find this house for sale or recently sold anywhere, and I really wanted to dream of owning it.
Life goal: to live in a renovated country cottage (the village must have a shop and a pub that serves delicious food), with a duck egg blue country kitchen, I would like an exposed brick wall at least somewhere in my house, a Velux window in a slopey ceiling, real wood floors that creak, a roll top Bath, and exposed beams.
Thoughts? Realistic? Will I ever achieve my goal? Because right now that house does not exist in my price bracket or the location I want 🤦🏻♀️
Ps my husband is totally onboard with this as long as he can walk to a train station, walk to a bank, walk to a super market and walk to the barbers. Do you see our problem with this country house dream 🤣🤣
Ely Cathedral is also known as the Ship of the Fens - when fog settles over Ely, once a marshland, the cathedral looks like a massive ship sailing across it. It’s hard to show how absolutely huge this building is, and it’s practically in the middle of nowhere!!

Since it was November, only one Christmas market was open already; luckily it was a rooftop one with skyline views! 🎄
