All of us suffer from weaknesses in our bodies. On social media now a days people will only post there victories/strengths and never showcase losses/weaknesses. It’s crucial to identify your weaknesses in order to improve your performance🏋🏻♂️.
My hamstrings can generate far more strength than my quadriceps. This can be normal for most athletes, but in order to continually put on strength certain weaknesses must be identified.
Thank you coach @steve_efkarpidis for pointing it out. My hips raise up initially too early which throws off my mechanics as I pass the knees and begin the second pull. After that it’s up to my hamstrings, gluteus maximus, and my erector muscles to continue the movement. Since my knees are fully extended at this point, my quadriceps are no longer able to generate more force. To Summarize this, my quadriceps are unable to withstand as much load as my hamstrings. I’ve been strengthening my quadriceps by implementing more squats into my routine. I’ll post my progress on those as I continue to do them more😁. ➖
