"I've been around. There were years when I was breakin' every rule, but I'm coming down. I can't believe the things I put my mother through, but it's alright. I guess we all deserve our turn to be a fool. I took my turn and so did you." Thanks @themarcman6 for the recommendation.
On our way to do a little filming to help give you a better idea of where we pulled our inspiration for Enough To Go Around! Anybody recognize this little cutie?

Me with Joan and Ken from the band Stone Angel, at the end of last summer (I’m the one in the middle with the silly bellbottoms on in case you hadn’t guessed). Stone Angel’s debut LP from 1975 is a lost acid folk classic that fetches well over £300 nowadays in first pressing format, and I wrote about it in the East Anglia chapter of 21st Century Yokel, after meeting Ken and Joan a few years ago in a pub in Norfolk. It’s a magical, fragile and dusty-sounding record that really sums up that landscape for me. I was so chuffed when Ken and Joan surprised me by turning up for my talk at the brilliant @folkeast festival.
That moment when you discover an artist and won’t stop listening ✨

Here's Brona '@queenofcorkbots' McVittie playing for us at The Harrison back in January. Her debut album, out now, is incredible.

Awrite? So this is the score, I played a gig in Dublin 13 days ago, and I enjoyed it so much I’m coming straight back to play another in that fine city! I’ll be playing in Whelan’s this Wednesday the 21st of February! The night is called Craicin’ Up and is organised by the DCU Mental Health Society! All proceeds will be donated to Jigsaw which is such a worthwhile charity if you can’t make it to the gig maybe throw in a wee donation anyhow! But try to make it to the gig because there are some seriously incredible artists playing just land down lad!
I will be DJing at the next @volumecontrolbelfast gig if you can believe that! A lot of people reckon folk singers canny dj so we’ll see what the craic is! I’ll be sharing the stage with the mighty @whale.talk and lavengro! I’m pure excited like I love singing songs and pourin my sadness into sound systems but I also pure love boppin to vibey lofi hip hop and boombap so if you dig the vibe my guy get yourself to this! Admission is 5 quid and you have to be 13 to get in haha yeeeoooo!
