In addition to the grief ourselves and our kids are walking through, which is enough to bring us to our knees, we also have trauma from the day of the accident and surrounding days. Things children should never see or hear or feel have resulted in anxiety, flashbacks, and nightmares. Intense stress can rewire little brains. In addition to a slew of other tools which obviously include therapy, we are using essential oils to ease their stress. There are parts of our brains (specifically ones that deal with memory) that can only be accessed via the body's sense of smell. Some essential oils have the ability to clean the receptor sites and help to clean out areas where intense trauma is stored (they're much more than just smells - the research is fascinating). Not only do we know they are working, but they give our children something to do when they feel out of control and helpless to stop it. They know where their oils are and they can oil up or start their diffusers any time (and they do). We are thankful for these healing gifts in nature to help our children, now more than ever 🌿
Essential Oils can lift our mood, help concentration, or energize us for a workout. Don't be fooled by the pretty factor of the

The savvy makeup is just rocking my face off. Literally. Gently rocking it with angel tears and the dust of heaven. I hate to get dramatic about it ... sigh. But it's just that good. Tag 2 of your favorite humans who's brows are always on point, or makeup is killer and you'll be entered to win some multitasker! Which is changing my eyebrows' life.👁👌🏽

Did you even know how amazing CorrectX is as a diaper cream? I mean. Amazing.
FYI if the skin is especially red or broken, add a bit of Fractionated Coconut Oil first.
Also, that synthetic stuff is gross. Make the switch, mama! x
I post about past tense a lot because it’s one of my favorite oils, but I also have a funny story about my husband who has always been a skeptic to natural healing. He got up yesterday morning and said he had a headache, I asked him if he used any past tense and he said no. Normally he would reach for an over the counter medication but I grabbed the past tense and rolled it on his temples and the back of his neck. About 10 minutes later I look over at him and he was shaking his head around, I asked him what he was doing and he said he was checking if he still had a headache 😂🤷♀️ I asked if his headache was still there and he said “no”. Some day he will just have to accept that essential oils really do work! Anyone else have a skeptical hubby? 🤚
So excited to start planning my essential oils make and take workshop! We will be making blends to help support emotions.

Once upon a time I was attacked. Kind of. I was playing soccer and in this particular league slide tackling wasn't allowed. The other team was about to score, and I was coming up fast on the player with the ball (because I was faster, obviously) and because we couldn't slide tackle, I lunged forward, put my foot in front of the ball, stopped the shot, and was triumphant! For a few nanoseconds at least until my body caught up with my foot and tumbled over it. Sadly though, when it came time for my foot to follow the tumble, it was disobedient and decided not to, and so my ankle busted really bad. I know, I know, hold the tears, I lived. 🤗
BUT I didn't play soccer for a while and had to bumble around on crutches for the weeks following. The deep blue rub didn't make everything magicly better, but it did help the recovery process a lot. And it feels so nice. I still use it when I'm particularly sore, or if my ankle starts acting up again. And, as my grandma, @emary10 also can testify, it's great for feet with arthritis! Thanks for being such a homie, Grandma. 😉
It takes a lot of work to produce a tiny amount of essential oil!
-It takes 60,000 rose blossoms to produce 1 ounce of pure rose oil!
-A sandalwood tree must be 30 years old and 30 feet high before it can be cut down for distillation. -Jasmine flowers must be picked by hand before the sun becomes hot on the very first day they open-making it one of the most expensive oils in the world!

So my allergies are crazy this year!! I have a over the counter nasal that I like but I wanted something natural instead.
I got a pack of these when I was at @aromatools and made up a seasonal relief as soon as I got home. I have tried the allergy trio and it doesn’t work amazing for me. (I do need to try it daily to see if it’s better and I want to try it internal which I know will help). I just have never gotten allergies often enough to try.
So I decided to look up another mix. I’m glad I did because I really like this one!! It had 5 drops of melaleuca, cedarwood, lavender, and peppermint.
Next time I change it up a bit. I’ll place the stick in a container to soak up the oils.. it for everywhere just placing it in the container! And I will put 3 drops of peppermint instead of 5 as that oils makes the inside of my nose a little sensitive.
Anyone else have allergies? Have you tried natural solutions yet? If not, you should because it’s worth it!! PM and we can talk.
I've been a little bit #MIA for a couple of days. I found myself becoming mentally exhausted, so I decided to take a few days to unwind! On Thursday, I took an afternoon nap for the first time in a very long time 👌, I went to my weekly HIIT/Yoga class to allow myself some self-care 🏵, and I became more authentically present with my kids 👩👧👦. Yesterday, my husband and I attended a beautiful Celebration of Life for an old friend who's life was taken far too soon. It was a day filled with emotions, reflection, and realization that life can be cut short 🙏.
I've been applying these four oils to put me in a mindset of enjoying spontaneous moments, releasing emotions, putting the stress of life aside, and being truly present 💗.
Ylang Ylang - over the heart - a powerful remedy for releasing emotions. This oil reminds us that joy can be felt and experienced more fully by allowing the heart to heal.
Red Mandarin - behind the ears - see life through childlike eyes, appreciating the sweetness, wonder and innocence. The demands of day-to-day life can dim the joy and excitement that children can offer, and parents often find themselves overwhelmed. This oil allows us to refocus on the beauty contained in the simple moments that deserve to be noticed!
Sunny Citrus - on the wrists - embrace carefree moments! This oil reminds us to take time to reconnect with the childlike part of the soul that is unburdened by stresses, worries, and seriousness of life. Embrace optimism, enthusiasm, and the abundance that surrounds you.
Kumquat - on the pulse points - embrace your true self and be authentically present. True happiness comes from being real and being honest. This oil reminds us that we're only human. Shift your focus to a path of contentment, truth, and inner alignment. #beyou#bereal
