Hello world🌎I haven’t been showing as much self-care and self-love as I should be. At the moment, I’m monitoring my thoughts, emotions, and beliefs that I have about God, myself, life, people, and so forth. Stepping a way from self-sabotaging behaviors and toxicity. Facing my emotional pain, forgiving my past and others, forgiving myself for not loving me as much as I should’ve.✂️ I made a quick list of self-care goals I have for myself. Sleeping for 9 hours, laughing more, nightly face masks, expressing myself through my creativity & not suppressing it, learning that it’s okay to put myself first, etc.♥️
Overall, just checking in with myself on a daily basis - mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically🌱
I want you to take a breather. Learn to be gentle with yourself. Address the emotions you feel - head on. Set yourself free from the walls you’ve so carefully imprisoned yourself in. It’s a new day. Take form🙏🏽 (How are you showing up for yourself? What’s your self-care/love plan?🧡)

A little fresh fish to get me through the week! Wild caught halibut mailed to California from Alaska! Baked in a olive oil, dill, and red pepper marinate! Topped with fresh parsley and 🍅! Oh and can’t forget the spinach and tomato orzo!
Homemade Almond Milk ...so easy and delicious. I had no idea the difference in taste until I tried it and honestly, I don't think I can ever go back to the premade stuff again. .
1 cup organic raw almonds
4 cups water
Vanilla extract (optional)
1. Soak almonds in water overnight
2. Drain & rinse them
3. In a blender, add almonds and water and blend for at least 1 minute.
4. If you were using a sweetener or vanilla extract, add it before blending.
5. Once blended, strain into a nut milk bag or using a small towel into a bowl to separate pulp from liquid. Squeeze until liquid is all out and pulp is pretty dry. That's how you know you got it all
6. Taste the liquid to see if you'd like to add more sweetener or not.
7. Pour milk into a glass container & refrigerate before drinking.
8. Shake before pouring, separation may happen.
9. Enjoy within 5 to 7 days.

Alright guys, it’s a sad day in Chicago! ☹️If you’ve seen my posts lately, you know I’ve been talking a lot about @snapkitchen in Chicago. I found out they are closing THIS week and I’m super bummed. They will be giving everything away that doesn’t sell on Thursday evening.
