"I like the muted sounds, the shroud of grey, and the silence that comes with fog." (Om Malik)
Doc: ..I open up people's heart and stitch it back up. I'm a butcher so to speak.
Me: That sounds exciting. The only butchering I do is in my mom's kitchen.
Doc: I'm interviewing someone today, for my new PA. An AirAsia stewardess, and part time model *wink*
Me: Oh, really? Good for you. Where is she? It's a she, right? *wink*
Doc: Of course a she. She's here already at the parking. Good for her that she's punctual coz I'm quite particular about punctuality (looks at the clock, it was 11 sharp, the time of the interview).
Me: (Guess that would make me a bitchy lady-boss coz my level of punctuality would be 11 sharp and she better be sitting in front of me right now)
I'm feeling ur excitement already.
Doc: (Catching my drift) Yeah, you know...after a stressful day at work, you need 'this type' of distraction, you see, to help take the stress away.
Me: You know, you're right. I agree with you.
In fact, I totally get you.
Some people you keep within reach. You memorize their numbers by heart.
Despite your disappearing acts and then reappearing demandingly out of the blue.
Despite how odd it may look to others when you're together.
Because they feed, nourish or heal a certain or small part of the energy within you.
Doc: If I'm lucky maybe she'll marry me (laughs)
Me: Why not (smirk)
Lucky...there's more to getting what you wish for than just being lucky.
"I pray that one day, you find someone who loves you so much you forget how it feels to be hurt.
I pray they kiss you every night and I pray that you wake up warm with their arms around you.
I really pray that person loves every fibre of you and enjoys every moment they have with you.
Most of all, I pray that #YouLetThem."
In walked the stewardess-model make-up long legs and all, we made eye contact and I gave a knowing look, she appeared a bit confused thinking if I were the interviewer. Noticing my distraction, Doc turned towards the source and the model immediately acknowledged him and sat in front of us.
At least 14 years of age gap separates her from me and another 14 between me and the doc. I prayed for all us three.
Hey everybody deserves their being happy.
