This photo was inspired by my 10-year-old son and the time he asked me why I don’t have two wooden cutouts of the word Home so I can say “Home Sweet Home” instead of just my usual gold “Sweet Home” that sits on my bookshelf all the time (for those of you who don’t know, Sweet is my last name). Thanks to Target’s “dollar section” stocking the new spring items, I have two new bright pink ones...and a new color scheme!
Aren’t pink and gold books gorgeous together?

Happy Thursday and happy day to me! I can’t believe that I hit 10k followers here on IG!🎉
Reading has been such a great experience now that I have friends to share my thoughts and feelings with. It’s so good to have such a great community here and I’m glad to have you all! 💕💕💕
I’ll be doing a giveaway in a few days to celebrate and also a few shout out sessions because I wouldn’t be here with you folks. Stay tuned!

Absolutely love this quote!
📍What’s one thing you want to learn? Painting? Writing? Reading with your eyes closed? 😜Think and Share 😊
“If that was true he must have felt that he had lost the old warm world, paid a high price for living too long with a single dream. He must have looked up at an unfamiliar sky through frightening leaves and shivered as he found what a grotesque thing a rose is and how raw the sunlight was upon the scarcely created grass. A new world, material without being real, where poor ghosts, breathing dreams like air, drifted fortuitously about...like that ashen, fantastic figure gliding toward him through the amorphous trees.”

This is my entry for the fifth challenge of the #heroofthereaders event that @justanotherbookishblog is hosting to celebrate the release of Hero at the Fall by @alwynhamilton 💜
The theme for this challenge is an accessory that defines a character🕵️♂️ I chose Sherlock’s deerstalker hat! It makes his silhouette instantly recognizable.
Are you participating in the #heroofthereaders challenge? 📚 What accessory do you always associate with a specific character?
🌅"I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right." - The Book Thief.🌅
Happy weekend! It's Friday evening here, but if you're still on Thursday then hang in there!
Does anyone else struggle with keeping their theme on track? I know how I want mine to look, but every so often I go back to it and it looks like it's getting messy and I feel the need to prune it down again.
Do you mess around with your theme, or so you post it and leave it as it is? Some people are really relaxed about it, but mine annoys me if it doesn't look 'right'.
