The gym definitely kicked my ass today, but I wouldn't have it any other way. This time last year I was in a totally different place & mind set. Today I feel like I'm heading in the right direction. Not just with my health, but with life in general. I'm not planning to stop any time soon. This is a life style, not a hobby. Consistency is important. And I mean, REALLY important.
Whether you want success with your fitness, business or personal goals, you need to be putting in the work, day in day out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m being serious when I say this: a lot of people think they’re being consistent, but they’re not. They think they’re working hard, but really, they’re not. If you spend 3 hours watching TV every night from 8-11, yet you say you don’t have time to go to the gym or to work on your side hustle... then you are just lying to yourself. Sure, you may be tired from work. I get that. But if you are and you don’t put in the work, don’t complain that you’re not seeing results. It’s harsh, but true. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve started several ventures while being in a full time job PLUS a 3.5 hour commute. I’ve done it while at university, and I’ve done it while juggling all this with content creation and engagement with my audience, and training (and also last year, competition prep). Trust me, consistency is everything. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
...and look, I’m all about being mentally and physically healthy: that’s my thing. But seriously, if you waste energy complaining, you will not achieve what you want to achieve. It’s all about prioritisation: what matters most to you? Put this energy towards DOING. I began training to reclaim my passion for athletics – a passion that was present in my life long before the eating disorder. Exhaustion and starvation kept me away, but recovery brought me back.
As for bodybuilding, my journey was ignited by my brother, Aladdin. When he passed away, training became my outlet. It was what I had left of him. The gym was a haven of his presence. ⠀

There are several reasons you're not losing weight. I cover 15 of them in one of my eBooks (link in bio). Here's one: Intermittent Fasting.
I have written a whole Blueprint about Intermittent Fasting and you can get this, yes, you know it now, in the Champions’ Area! Results, as always, will vary, but intermittent fasting can be a great tool to break through a weight loss plateau. Before you start this though, you need to make sure you have a Nutrition Blueprint which suits your needs and goals!
Otherwise there is a high chance that Intermittent Fasting won’t work! In my Intermittent Fasting Blueprint, you will learn why to skip breakfast and eat a late lunch. But be careful! I am NOT saying, that you should skip breakfast in general! ONLY if you are doing Intermittent Fasting! Eventually, try exercising in a fasted state to maximize the metabolic advantage. If all goes well, your hunger won’t necessarily disappear, but it’ll change. A successful Intermittent Fasting tames hunger, makes it less insistent and demanding. Give it a go!
