If you enter this street in eastern England prepare to face Harold the dove. He's a wild bird who's become very protective of his new roost. He chases and occasionally perches on strangers who venture into the area.

Most birds have a 'crop,' a specialised pouch in the throat where food is stored before digestion. Birds of prey are gorge feeders and will eat as much as possible in one sitting, not knowing when their next meal will be.
