" Tuhan Yesus Memberkati "

Day 5, A New Strength // “'My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
I am humbled and convicted by today's devotion in Seasons - here's an excerpt of it...but man, it doesn't do it justice: "But what would this season - this day - be like if we owned our weaknesses the moment they surfaced? Regardless of how “new” our season is, what if we voiced our need for help, assistance, or accountability right at the start?
With any new level of responsibility comes the need for a greater awareness of our heart’s capacity to give into temptation, lust, pride, deceit, and anger. We all can fall prey to sin.
But if we are to be strong, then we must realize our weaknesses. And if we are to maintain our integrity, then we are to surround ourselves with trusted people whom we can “boast” those shortcomings to.
Ask yourself: "What does it mean for me to be weak today?” Feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
And - as always, you can find the Seasons Study in our link in bio!! #declareglory#SeasonsStudy

As followers of Jesus, we're in the constant spiritual battle. Daily, our enemy sends the spiritual arrows of temptation and trial our way, so how do we extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one?
Of course, we can't fight in our own strength because our enemy is stronger than us, but we have a loving God Who is the Creator of all things, therefore, the enemy is no match for our God.
Thus, a very important part of our defense against our enemy is our faith and we need to fight on our knees in prayers. We believe in God and we trust Him at His Word. We trust that He is our Shield, our Defender, and we have full confidence in our all-powerful God

“If people really see that Christ has removed the fear of punishment from them by taking it into Himself, they won't do whatever they want, they'll do whatever He wants.” -John Bunyan
Powerful. When we recieve the spirit of God, we become His sons and daughters! We call Him "Abba" (daddy). But sometimes our mind doesn't change. We end up seeing Him still as an employer. We just work for Him. This causes our relationship with Him to stop growing. A relationship with an employer can never become personal. No matter how close of friends you become, he will always be your boss. We do things for him and he gives us a blessing. But a Father, that is something way different. It is a deeper relationship. He blesses us just because He wants to. We do not work FOR Him, but WITH Him. As FAMILY. We are comfortable to tell Him our failures, cry for help, and seek His fatherly love. Think of God as your Father. It will change your relationship drastically!
