Painting like a crazy thing right now and LOVING it! 12 paintings on the go so it’s hard to keep up and to get clear head space. In a way that’s good.... keeps me playful. That piece of paper stuck is just a reminder (maybe) of where to go next, the next image is maybe a colour plan (not sure if I’ll stick to that!) and the last image is just playing around with a photo overlay of a texture detail.... you know, for the heck of it.
Actually, the fact that it looks like a very messy ketchup party is quite appropriate at the moment.
Why so crazy? I have Surrey @contemporaryartfairs coming up in February AND Saatchi @theotherartfair in London in March.... both will be amazing but if you see me going slightly nuts, you know why!

“A picture lives by companionship, expanding and quickening in the eyes of the sensitive observer. It dies by the same token. It is therefore risky to send it out into the world. How often it must be impaired by the eyes of the unfeeling and the cruelty of the impotent.”
