Got this Canon FD 100/4 macro in a set. I took some shots with it and it is really good for the kind of images you see here. I will have to let it go though. Owning already two macro lenses in this range, I would use it seldom. It deserves someone who uses it regularly. But before I sell it, I want to go out and explore it’s character a bit more... You know how that ends, I probably will keep it. How about you? Are you good at selling lenses? I’m much better at buying them 😉

An early morning skimboard session at Balboa Beach captured on AGFA Vista 200. In our opinion, Vista 200 is one of the best cheap color negative film out there - it has beautiful subtle tones in even light and once the sunlight hits its' colors get much more vibrant and poppy. The the grain is pretty fine and the exposure latitude is decent. If you haven’t shot with this film we highly recommend it!
Oh and every one of these shots would be perfect for our “Good Morning” film photography contest! If you haven’t submitted, you totally should - we’re giving away some sweet cameras as prizes!! More info in the bio link! #thedarkroomlab_morning
