🙋🏼♀️🎨 Happy Weekend! Here’s a color mixing video as a treat from me to you! Did you see the latest paintings for sale on my website? There are 4 originals and one new print! Link in bio @leahnadeaustudio
3 short years ago I was a tea blogger who traded in her pen for a paintbrush. Can you believe how far I’ve come?
Today let’s celebrate our accomplishments! Tell me something you’ve accomplished and are proud of! Go on! 😊
“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.”
This moment is so right

We’ve all experienced them. Those rare extraordinary moments which appear in slomo. You capture them without aid for future replay. A moment of seeming perfection preserved.
I love my little studio. I like to keep it clean and organized. Somehow it is calming before I paint ti have a ritual of getting everything I want to use just where I want it so when I start painting I don’t have to think. Larry Poons back at the @aslnyc used to say how painting should be quick; no stopping for thinking. Works for me. Although once he suggested to someone in the studio there that they should paint with their eyes closed. I must say I haven’t tried that - yet anyway! #trixiepitts#abstractpainter#flaming_abstracts#artstudio#artritual#wip#studioorganization
Feeling a little stressed lately so I put on a blind fold and let my mind be free with art materials. This is the outcome. I was going to continue for a few hours but, I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep😅.
“I am an invisible man...I am a man of substance, of flesh and bone, fiber and liquids—and I might even be said to possess a mind. I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me.” -Ralph Ellison (Invisible Man)
