apricot bread recipe 👇🏼
1C chickpea flour
1C @bobsredmill almond meal
2 tbsp poppyseeds
3 diced apricots
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 organic eggs
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp baking soda
heat oven to 160C. combine everything in a large bowl. pour batter into a non stick loaf tin and bake for about 45 minutes. enjoy and happy WEEKENDING friends!!! 🙋🏼♀️💕

A recent study looked at women who were obese and non-obese before conception. The children who came from the non-obese mothers had better cognitive function and less risk of diabetes compared to the children from the obese mothers. There are numerous studies in this area looking at various health outcomes and the research is growing to support this.
When you think about how we reproduce, it makes complete sense theoretically as well. (in the simplest of terms) The health of your cells are determined by your lifestyle. Certain cells of a male and female join together to create one cell, which then continues to multiply until a human is created. The DNA and health of that initial cell comes from the DNA and health of the original cells.
During pregnancy, the fetus is eating many of the same nutrients and toxins that you eat. So it’s also important to practice a healthy lifestyle while pregnant. If you continue to eat loads of sugar while pregnant, guess what your baby/child will likely crave?
Your lifestyle choices affect more than just you. If you are thinking of getting pregnant or are already pregnant, it’s important to understand that you directly affect your child’s health. If you already have children, you are their role model and greatly influence the kinds of foods and lifestyle they choose now. If not for yourself, practice a healthy lifestyle for them!

I had always been on the thinner side throughout life, calling myself “skinny fat” because I could eat whatever I wanted and my belly wouldn’t grow, but I was so out of shape and incredibly weak!! After two cancer scares over five years and being sick for most of my teenage years, I decided to begin living a healthy & stronger life! This is the beginning of sharing my health & fitness journey and I hope I can be an inspiration to all you skinny fat chicks out there!! Spring is definitely not here yet, but it is surely on it’s way! That means its time for citrusy smells, lighter clothes, and sunshine to make their way into our minds again. The air is just slightly warmer here already sooo I’m feeling hopeful!

Como mostrei hoje cedo nos stories, pra mim essa é a melhor refeição para se manter saciado por mais tempo e evitar os deslizes que existem na rua. Portanto sempre opte por um carboidrato (aipim, banana da terra, inhame, cuscuz ) acompanhado de proteína (frango, queijo,patinho, ovos)e nunca dois tipos de carboidratos!

Can’t believe what a difference in my face from New Years week. I looked gaunt and like the life had been sucked out of me. Thought about getting fillers but then poof! Eating well again, gained my weight back and my cheeks lol. Always take care of yourself physically and mentally.. make sure you have peace of mind.
