This picture is a lie! Ok, that’s a bit of an exaggeration but I’m actually in Stockholm at the moment & took this picture before I left Gothenburg so it’s not taken today… But why am I here in Stockholm? Well, I’M GOING TO SEE NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS TONIGHT! It’s my first time & well, saying that I’m excited would be a grave understatement. So with this event in mind I thought I’d post one of my favourite records of theirs, “Let Love In”. But because I am in above mentioned city, this write up will be a little short so I might post this record again at another time, going more in depth. Because this record has some depth. “Let Love In” is an album where love is definitely not the only but the main focus. Morbid, intense, dangerous, decadent, passionate love. And these potent feelings that Cave paints for you with his baritone voice combined with their well-crafted gothic pop/rock makes it all just.. so delicious. But back to the live show. Have you ever seen them live? If you have, what was it like? And if not, are you going to in this tour? ❤️ #nickcaveandthebadseeds#letlovein
Released on this day 30 years ago - INXS, Kick.
Such a solid album, with so many hits: Guns In The Sky, New Sensation, Devil Inside, Need You Tonight, Mystify, and of course, Never Tear Us Apart.
This album will be played very loudly today 🔊
Friday! This is Lovely Creatures the best of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds (1984 - 2014) 3LP. Highly recommend! 🙌🙌🙌

Today marks the 30th anniversary of this awesome record, so this calls for a celebration. I'll at the same time have a drinky poo in the honor of the great John Dunsworth aka Jim Lahey. Another fallen hero that left us too soon. I guess this means no more Trailer Park Boys in the future. This f-ing sucks. INXS | Kick
Alfie! I finally found it! 🎉
This has been my White Whale for a long time.
The Sonny Rollins soundtrack to the 1966 Michael Caine classic movie. The main theme "Alfie's theme" is my favourite jazz tune of all, just oozing coolness from every note. I've never managed to find this before in any shape, so I was absolutely amazed and delighted to find a completely mint Japanese pressing with Obi and inserts while in BelAir records in Lausanne, Switzerland this week. Jazz is big there, only a stone's throw from Montreaux, home of the world famous jazz festival. The selection available was unbelievable.
Anyway, back to the record. I'm honestly blown away by the quality of the pressing. The sound stage is superb, even wider than my room, and Sonny's saxophone is right there in the room. You can hear his breath, the keys on the sax, every little nuance of the performance. I just wish I could invite you all over to hear it! 😂
