FEEL THE FEAR & DO IT ANYWAY 🌵💗.
My little coffee table & this was the card I pulled today. I love this quote. Acknowledge & notice the feeling of fear but don't be afraid 💜. Have a lovely Sunday people 🙏🏽
Comment "I love you" in your language 💕
"Love is fragile. It is like glass. treat it right, and it will return the favor. It will be beautiful, always there when you need it. But, sometimes that glass can shatter. Love can break. It can break our hearts, it can break our entire being. Love is passionate. It is a spark of fire, igniting into a large crimson flame. It consumes your body. Love is tender. It is sweet moments, ones that you never want to let go. It’s those moments when you just want to soak in your lover’s presence, slowly falling asleep on their chest as they kiss your forehead. Love is loyal. When you truly love someone, you never want them to leave. There is no pride in love. It does not corrupt you in bad ways, but good. love, is many things. When you say the word love, you aren’t just saying one word, but many emotions. Love cannot be described in one word. we use the word love so carelessly, that it means nothing. But, when the right person uses it, it means everything. We try to compact love into one word, but we can’t. It breaks its bars, slowly ripping from its confinement. Love is not perceptible in a tangible way, but by the soul. Love is everything, yet nothing at all."
I spent the weekend dancing. Learning kizomba (African style partner dance that's sort of like a bachata and tango blend) at a workshop and then going to a Latin dance night. ::
My feet ache from breaking in my new dancing heels. My body is sore from "leaving it all out on the dance floor" and my mind is tired from closing the bar down and being the last people on the dance floor. ::
This reminds me of days when I was in my band where I'd be so obsessed with everything band related that I'd spend a week coming up with an outfit for my shows, staying up late, talking about the band 24/7, and leaving all my blood sweat and tears out on that stage when we'd perform. ::
I haven't felt like this in awhile about anything (not since I created Wildheart in 2014) and it reminds me how important it is to have things that we care about in our lives and things we're willing to sweat over and get blisters over. And reminds me how important it is to CREATE. ::
For me, recently I realized that creating experiences is my favorite thing to do. And I'm so grateful that I'm now experiencing more dance in my life. ::
Now I'd love to hear from you. Do you considering yourself an artist or creator? What is your life like when you're creating? What is it like when you're not? Let me know in the comments below.
