Girls who have pre bonded extensions this is legit the best shampoo and conditioner combo to use ever to keep your bonds sturdy! The volumising works by sucking up oil at the root to create bounce which evidentially works a treat to stop your bonds sliding and slipping. Dreamy smell, amazing buy for sure, 100% recommend 🌞🌺🏄🌄 #aussie#aussomvolume#aussiereview#recommendation#hairextensions
STAY WITH ME... Sage Hotel West Perth are celebrating their 1st anniversary this week. Which has us revisiting our staycation there this time last year, thinking it might be time for our latest Perth staycation to hit AMC.
Rightly or wrongly, we've been concentrating on the newer additions to the Perth hotel scene lately (Tribe, Crown Towers & Aloft). Given the news this past week that my absolute favourite of the oldies (The Richardson) is now looking at becoming aged care because it just can't compete, it might be time to spread the staycation love around. I certainly know what it's like to be overlooked and invisible with the newer kids on the block.
Of course, not all staycations will make it on AMC. Some form part of my mystery shopping aka auditing business and others just aren't fit for publication.
Do you have a favourite Perth hotel? Would you consider a mystery hotel for your next holiday?
Silver linings... One of the better things to come from falling down stairs, fracturing ribs, busting my elbow and bruising a kidney the day before moving into our new home, is all that free time. A huge chunk of time set aside for the actual move, now free to read and review books.
Last year, I think I managed one book for pleasure. The rest were mandatory reading for my business diploma studies. This is my reading list for the past month with another four to go. I just need to find the time to get back to the computer and publish those reviews.
I also think it might be time to start or join a wine club... I mean book club.
What's on your bookcase right now and any tips on book clubs?

STAYCATION STYLE... What's your staycation style? My hubby likes to make himself at home, which generally means making more mess than he would ever dream of at home.
I'm the opposite. A clean and uncluttered room provides a certain sense of calm, which helps me unwind. Which is probably why I'm leaving hubby at home for my next staycation.
Before then, I'm packing for a quick fly-in, fly-out trip to Sydney tomorrow night. Catching up with a few of my favourite bloggy friends and attending a mystery event or two.
You can read all about my recent Crown Towers staycation on AMC. It's safe to say... there's not a legs on window sill or me in a fluffy robe, shot in sight. That's just not my style.
Lights, camera, umm... ACTION? You could say thanks to my new @Kambrookau Soup 2 Simple Soup Maker, that also doubles as a cocktail maker, I'm back in action in the kitchen this week. Broken ribs, busted elbow and all.
Tonight we started with the easiest & most delicious French onion soup. I also concocted a little drink I like to call 'make it up as you go with whatever is on hand'. That would be gin, lime, pomegranate and ginger beer. I'm calling it gingingranate but it could double as a gin Margarita. Is there such a thing?
I'm also setting the scene for a night in front of the fire with hubby relaxing. A first in the new place. The action will have to wait for my ribs to heal.
More on my shiny new house warming gift and my favourite soup & supper recipes hitting AMC soon.
This big boy also makes Frappes, so I'll be hitting @karvancoffee up for a few ideas in that department. The more ideas that include my favourite coffee the better.

A little sneak peek at my new kitchen. Not exactly my dream kitchen but a work in progress.
My house warming gift from @kambrookau is certainly warming the cockles. A soup maker, just in time for winter.
I'll be filming in the test kitchen with Kambrook next week, broken ribs and all.
As well as soup this bad boy also makes cocktails, mocktails, baby food, smoothies and Frappes.
There's even a recipe for a mean Margarita jug. I'm thinking it would be silly not to start my review there. Who wants to join me?! #soupmaker#productreview#aussiereview#Kambrook#gifted#collaboration#soup#smoothies#cocktails#partyatmyplace

From the bookcase... The best thing about breaking ribs and moving to our new (to us) home with no phone or internet, is having more time for reading and reviews.
It may have taken me a week to find my book review box but I'm looking forward to sinking my teeth into this lot.
Her Mother's Secret from @natashalesterauthor may have ruined me though. I find myself wanting to delve back into this book and I'm craving a sequel.
What book should I choose next?
A FEW LESS MEN... When you don't get tickets to see Adele, a preview screening & a pre-film function at the bar, is a good distraction. Especially when the film is full of inappropriate side splitting humour.
Filmed in WA, A FEW LESS MEN is the hilarious sequel to the hit A FEW BEST MEN.
The bloopers at the end are worth hanging around for. You'll have to sit through a super long running list of credits first. Keep an eye out for our local talent. I spotted @caitlinirving & @peachandpineapple in the credits.
Opens March 9.
